If there is a common theme that resonates throughout the composites industry, its material control and handling.  Ensuring that material expiration and out-time limits are not exceeded is a critical aspect to product consistency and overall quality.

The IT staff at Custom Composites has created the industrys' first live/web-based material alert and tracking system.  From receiving to curing, material is tracked, monitored, and recorded electronically.  Both our staff and customers can review real-time temperature monitoring statistics for their material.  The system maintains a color coded out-time counter that alerts the quality team about expiring materials.
